HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Pipi’s 22nd year on Earth was finally here last Sunday. And of course, the picnic that we have been looking forward to too! Well, at least for me la.. Lol

PICNIC FOR THE FTW!!!

The weather on Sunday was undeniably good. The sun was up and high but yet the wind blew the heat away. Maybe I was in a very good mood that evening, everything seems to be so beautiful and life seems to be so carefree for that particular instance. Totally awesome. Great to hang out with close friends.

From what I’ve heard, Pipi’s Mum baked her a cake in the morning, and helped to prepared the food for the picnic. Because of her, we managed to have fried mee, curry puffs, nuggets and some muffins for the evening. How cool is that!?! And not to forget, our dear Liyan helped in prepapring the tasty and nutritious sandwiches, which consisted of lettuce, tomato, egg, cheese and  ham. OMG.. So irresistible. Haha..

One day, Geminis will dominate the world.

It was Friday 2 days back. And as usual, I met up with members of Friday Bitch Club (FBC), which consists of Caren, Stella, Ervine and me. It was a coincidence that Stella and me are Geminis while Ervine and Caren are Leos.

The personalities of a Gemini were well-demonstrated by Stella and me. Blabbering away non-stop. Laughter and making fun of one another. While the Geminis were making nonsense comments and doing stupid actions, the Leos sit back and laughed at the jokes. I guess to them, we are the jokes.

Lol..

Anyway we had Sushi Tei at Holland Village. My initial plan was to jog there from my house, but since they mentioned something about doing homework after that, I can’t possibly run with my heavy bag. So no jog that night.

Halfway

Yours truly have been working on Financial Reporting essay for the past few days. Although so far I’m only halfway through the 2500 words, I’m rather happy with myself. Finally I’m starting to put in some effort into my school work since school had started for nearly 2 months. Sadly to say, my Management Accounting essay (another 2500words) is still looking at me, screaming: Do me!!

Sounds wrong. LOL

This evening’s jog at east coast park was fantastic. The wind was pretty strong and cooling and I can smell the salt on me after the run. Neyton and I did a slow and steady 15km at a very comfortable pace. Didn’t really feel tired after the run. It’s a good sign. But I had 2 dinners after that. One at 8pm. Another at 11pm. Hmm… not very healthy..

I’m rather excited about tomorrow as it will be Pamela’s birthday in less than an hour’s time. And a whole lot of us will be going to the Marina Barrage for a healthy picnic in the late afternoon.

And also not to mention that I will be doing my favorite pastime in the morning. It’s Sunday again. So excited.

Charmaine’s 22nd Birthday

I’ve been very busy last week and totally lack of the time to edit the photos and update my blog. Finally, today I have some free time to unwind my mind and body, so decided to add another entry into my almost life-less and emo blog.

Happy Birthday Miss Charmaine!

That night I was late by an hour as I was attending to something very important from afternoon to the evening. However, I don’t really feel guilty. Because everyone arrived the same time as me.. Hhaha..

Around 8 of us turned up for this mini birthday celebration at Sakura Orchard. $30 per  pax for buffet dinner. I think the variety and quality of the food does not match the price. But anyway, that’s not important, cus’ I’m not going back there again. Here goes the saying, it’s the company that makes the gathering worthwhile.

By the way, I did not flex my arm on purpose.

I had lots of Sashimi that night. If you can split open my stomach and see what I had that night, it will be bright fresh orange Sashimi.

Timbre @ substation after dinner. I still prefer Old School. While on the way to Timbre, the girls went crazy for a while.

Well… which is quite normal for that to happen when they are around =)

We have lots of fun. Playing weird games. Charmaine getting excessively high from the beers.

It was fun. Really.

As we grow older each year, slowly and surely, we started to have lesser and lesser time for our loved ones and friends. We are always thinking of ways to make both ends meet, whether in relationship or family or work. Work, stress and unnecessary worries practically occupied whatever is left of us. It sucks all the energy and smiles away from our face. Sometimes things that seem so simple to others, is hell of a problem to another. Because one is emotional detached from the problems of the others.  How I wish I can learn the skill of detaching my feelings away from me when I wanted it to.

But sadly, I can’t.

I guess no one can.

Those who say they can, they are just ignoring their feelings.
It’s still sticking to him closely.

Ignorance is bliss.

Ignorance is a blessing in disguse.

Easier said than done.

This morning’s Nike 10Km Human Race was pretty good. Although due to the fact that I have not been training for this run, I still managed to finish it in 50min flat. Not bad at all i guess. Neytan managed to finish within 49min. Lol.

And since the weather is so bright and sunny, I decided to go for a swim too. I won’t want to miss the great weather.

It totally served as a wake up warning for me to start training for the Standard-Chartered Full Marathon which will be in December, meaning to say that I’m left only with 6 weeks. Damn!!

Nothing exciting happened this week, except for the non stop gourmet that never fails to make me a happy boy.

I had Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao with Pamela in Suntec City.

Whenever I’m feeling down or emo, Pamela is definitely there for me. Although she is usually full of nonsense and fun, she gives good suggestions too. However, goods suggestions are always not pleasing to the ears.

Since I needed a running tights, I head down to town after my tuition. And had my dinner with Caren at Pasta Cafe.

She had chicken kong bao spaghetti while I ordered a set which consists of lobster salad,  salmon tomato gratin and a scallop cream spaghetti. I thought it was rather value for money although the spaghetti tasted as if the chef used a cheap spaghetti.
